The first game I played was Halo in 2001
I wasn't interested in video games when I was a kid
As for Mario, I just don't understand the point of platformers? There's no overarching point or story to it that I learn something from.
To be fair, there's only a handful of franchises I'm interested in playing at all. I think most games are shite.

The Mario games are fantastic

Uncharted is the only one I've never touched.
Although I've never beat a Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, Crash Bandicoot. I think I've tackled every other major franchise to completion.

I've never played any of the PS exclusives, and the only Nintendo exclusives I've ever played are Mario, zelda and Pokemon
