I want to get hyped about Bethesda, but the last few years (honestly, the last 6-7 years) have been immensely disappointing. Why would they not give their fans what they want, ie ES 6. They can be creative on the side.

Doom eternal is the only game I have hope for from Bethesda. They clearly don’t know how to develop anything else currently

There is an expansive character creator.
It’s a completely open world.
There are no more guns.
You are free to ignore the main quest like Skyrim and never save the word.
You can build a town which ties into the game’s ending, and you can “lose” if you do it wrong.
There’s multiplayer (presumably co-op).
It’s built in Unreal.
