I don't see Metroid coming in 2020. It wouldn't have even been in development for 2 years.

They should have the assets already in place and they have a really good studio working on it as well. We also have ZERO clue what Retro's other project is... it's insane

I believe their other project was canned but that's only my disguising speculation.

Doesn't look like they've done a while lot, latest being the Tropical Freeze port to the Switch. Probably needed something to sustain them and this was the golden ticket.

OG Gwent is all I want, if I want to play a functional game I can play with my friends instead of a CPU... I play Magic with my friends on the weekend.
P.S: The Gwent Stand Alone game was trash when I tried it out, it's a typically "pay-to-win" online card game

Was listening to Giant Bomb last night, and some of them got to play some Switch games at E3, and they were shocked at how poorly some of the games were running on the switch. Links Awakening was 60 fps inside buildings, but once you went outside, serious chug and jank. It's probably an alpha build and will be fine tuned before release, but it was jarring. Also, Resident Evil 5 and Wolfenstein had poor performances.

yea Switch is all I have, but even if its 720p it'll be the only format I have seen it on so I dont think its gonna bother me that much.
Im actually ecstatic about this.
If it sells, which it should, hopefully we can get some more ports of great games going forward.

Sleeper game I'm actually looking forward to.
Yooka-Layee and the Impossible Lair
While Yooka-Layee was mediocre (I liked it just fine, but was weaker than it should have been) I think they'll do a much better job with a 2D platformer. It's easier to make a great 2D platformer game IMO. Lots of Donkey Kong Country vibes on it of course.

It won't just be resolution which is compromised but AA, textures, lighting, and shadows.
Everything that makes an image look realistic will be turned down.
The experience of the Witcher3 is worth playing it the right way.
