One of the under the radar remaster projects with ties to Square Enix that I am hoping to see more on at E3 is Fear Effect Reinvented.

It was announced a few years ago that PS1's Fear Effect was getting remastered with some slight update to controls to modernize it. But everything else was supposed to stay true to the original. Other than a few more screen shots released in 2018, I haven't seen anything new on it since the reveal. It may have been scrapped for all I know...

Fear Effect was often compared to Resident Evil meets Metal Gear Solid. It came out months before the PS2 release, so I don't think it ever got the praise it deserved because of the poor timing.

Only $130 for the founders edition? Not bad. Controller, Chromecast, 3 months, and Destiny 2 Year 3 Edition? Looks worth it to me. Especially if you already have Destiny with cross platforms saves being announced.

I've seen and read probably everything about the remake. Even a bunch of speculation.

I just think since it's a remodeled combat system, they should show off a few more details. For instance, is the real time combat system a constant flow, or will there be pauses in action for actions such as target cycling or using items/stat boosters like in FFXV?

Or, exactly how will the summons work?... will they be a non-involved cutscene where the summoned comes in in dramatic fashion and lays waste to the enemy (like in the original VII or VIII) or will the player take physical control of the sommoned's actions like in FFX?

And how will party system work? Standard "Xxxx has joined the party" - "Xxxx has left the party"? Will player only control Cloud or be able to take control of separate individual party members at will during combat, and let AI control Cloud while player gives enemies hell with a character of maybe a more suitable skillset for the particular enemy being battled.

That's the kind of stuff I think about. They don't need to tell all, but a few hints about things like that would be nice.

i know it's an alpha, but that Fallen Order gameplay looked awfully mediocre.
