Sony and EA are the only dropouts, and EA's show was always a shite ton of sports games and an awkward soccer player boring us to tears. I won't miss that. But with Sony.....I'm seeing a lot of chatter that developers are saving up what they show for the next gen, so they decided to do their own little "direct" and not waste a lot of money for a pointless E3 press conference.

Only problem i've had with Sony's is that they usually show stuff thats so far off theres almost no point in getting hype about it

They honestly don't have much to show without announcing PS5 and its games. They're going to do that at the end of this year or start of next year. I do wish they bothered with something at least.

In this day and age of social media and Twitch livestreams, E3 doesn't have the same weight it used to.
Developers no longer need E3 as a platform, everyone has their own platform and if they do things themselves they get to do it without sharing the stage with the competition.
I'm kinda sad to see E3 fading in relevance but I totally see why it's happening.

Halo Infinite will be shown playing on PC, and not Xbox at e3. Microsoft is clearly shifting focus to PC in at least a few areas.

The full report on the Halo Infinite demo be shown on PC stated that all Xbox demos will be shown on PC this year because the regular xbox one hardware is now dated.
They just want their demos to look as pretty as possible. If they were ready to do a full reveal of the Anaconda up and running, I'm sure they would be running the demos on Anaconda and not PC.

Yup, they are making a big deal about Halo for PC and not just being a port.
I read that Halo 6 has cost around $500 million, because of the new Slipspace Engine cost being factored in. This thing better be good.

Gonna nut if some legit new info and footage of FF7 Remake is plugged by Square Enix.
Really hoped for something big from Bethesda on ES6 but probably better to take their current trajectory and keep it tight to the vest... especially after the abortion of a Skyrim launch.
I'd rather them be secretive and get it right and surprise me, than rush through the launch again.
