E3 is a video gaming convention. Can't have video games without the tech.

No one is trolling or has been. I see serious discussion and pretty reasonable at that outside of one fanboy being a jackass right now.

Especially when you have no games like MS huh? Bring back old ones to save face for a shitty lineup. Makes perfect sense really.

It's moving more away from Xbox gaming and PC gaming and more to Windows Gaming like you said. When Windows 10 comes along, Microsoft is going to bring the two closer together and try to have "Windows Gaming" exclusives. It's a brilliant move by them to put a strangle on the gaming industry. Xbox One users get early access and can download mods starting this fall.

Is Windows Gaming exclusives all that different than all of the PC/360 exclusives we had last generation? While there will be perks and access to a huge W10 library, there's a lot we don't know about.

Did they confirm this on any game besides Fallout?

And they will not get Fallout mods this fall. It will be 2016 with no date yet. Also PS4 will get the Fallout mods later.

I didn't play FF7. Thus I give zero fricks about it.

Am excited but have heard almost nothing new about it since December. Maybe I missed it.

COD sucks to me but that is still a pretty big deal from a business standpoint.

And Microsoft trying to build a bridge between the Xbox and PC gaming isn't?

Not really sure. There's a lot we don't know like you said but with Windows 10 Microsoft is trying to connect all of your windows devices. If they could somehow make it to where you could stream your Steam games through your Xbox as well, it would be game over for Sony.

Yes. PCs, tablets, Xbone, Xbox 360, etc

A step in the right direction, though I'm guessing the cross-platform interactivity will be limited because of the varying interfaces. But it could work well for anything but competitive FPS.

This kind of stuff is really the only thing that interests me, and why I can't sit through these E3 streams for very long. Cinematic trailers are great for hype and not much else, especially for games that have plenty of time to devolve between now and the actual release date.

They won for me. I'm just sitting here spasming over new Nier.

For you rundown, it's an action RPG that has combat a bit similar to Zelda. I love it because of the characters, music, and story. They're extremely dark and as the game unfolds, your actions have great consequence on the world. There's just not much like it.

I think Microsoft had an awesome conference too. I just liked Sony's more. It was a great E3 IMO.

Yea PC players would shite on others in this aspect.

I love watching E3 but the only presentations and such I watch from start to finish is Nintendo. Now obviously this year with Windows 10 around the corner and Fallout 4 coming out, I spent more time paying attention to Microsoft's presentation than normal and watched all of Bethesda's presentation.

Seriously. Imagine if you are a person who doesn't like Fallout then you would have been miserable watching the Bethesda conference.

I'm not really a big fan of the Japanese style games a lot of Sony fans adore, but I really liked Horizon, No Man's Sky, and Uncharted 4. I just wish it didn't seem like so many of their games are so far out. As someone who plays all of their multiplats on Xbox One I am in dire need of some good PS4 games since I'm not a Bloodborne or MLB the show kind of guy.

Xbox fits me more because I love Halo, Forza, and Gears. Plus I am super excited for Tomb Raider. I liked what I saw from Rare. Cuphead looks amazing. They showed Ark, which I am dying to play.

I think backwards compatibility is huge for Xbox because they have been losing people to Playstation. If you can play your old 360 games on the One it makes you a bit more reluctant to go out and buy a PS4 imo.

I've seen a lot of good games the last couple of days and apparently MS has a bunch of stuff to show at Gamescom, so I am happy as can be right now
