They’re not that great to begin with, I only went because there was no other quick option. I was already aggravated that I was spending wayyy too much money for sub-par chicken so you can imagine my surprise when the girl told me I had to pay $.25 per BBQ sauce.

frick them, that’s the last time I go there.

I hope you can scrape together enough to be able to afford gas for your baw mobil and some dinner after dropping that much.

I always laugh a bit when a restaurant charges for a cup of ranch or other sauce. Especially sit down restaurants, I know the ranch you make is nothing but mayo, buttermilk, and Hidden Valley seasoning. It cost you nothing. That's just being cheap.

Better than paying $15.00 for the three finger combo at Canes instead.

I hate it too. It’s not about the price. If you ask for extra ketchup do they charge? What about napkins?

Charging per extra sauce is pretty common.

Zaxbys > canes

It has variety and buffalo sauce. Don't @ me

If you worked in a restaurant you would understand. These mfers come in and drink that crap. Along with a bowl full of lemons and two sugar caddies worth of sugar making homemade lemonade.

You have to charge everyone a little bit, or you will be deemed racist.

If I was as cheap as you I wouldn't make a thread about it.

A person who eats fast food boycotting one chain or another is no different than someone boycotting a discount airline for some type of inconvenience. There's a reason that you made the choice in the first place and it's the same reason why you'll be back.

To be fair, Zaxby’s sauces are packaged, as opposed to mixed and served in store. I can understand the need to charge. Think about the hundreds of restaurants, all giving away a couple hundred free sauces a day, and how much that adds up to over time.

801 stores nationwide. Let’s say they all give away 100 sauces per day for free, at a production cost of $0.05 per container. That’s $5 per day per store. $4,005 per day for the company. Over $1.4MIL per year.

If you calculate the sauces by the $0.25 they’re charging... $7.3MIL.
