i hate how snobby people have come over food. i get to eat out a lot for work and its always paid for and im around coworkers and accounts all the time who just like to bitch

we can be eating a $50 steak that tastes like heaven on a plate but one guy will bitch because the potatoes are too runny or the asparagus arent crunchy enough

get over yourselves. im not ashamed to say what i like and risk getting ripped. and you know what, i like some chains!!! ohhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo

Dining with others on an expense account business/client type meal and nitpicking the food is pretty damn tacky indeed.

Yep, Chimes sucks.

If they only served BMC, and it wasn't on LSu's campus, I bet you would forget about it. Food is overrated, service is bad.

In general, if the name of a restaurant contains the words "road house", I'm not going there.

I hate mushy asparagus. If you're charging me $50 for a steak, get the sides right.

I still want to know how old he thinks we all are.

It's not the old ones that do most of the complaining.

I almost thought about including seafood establishments that specialize in fried seafood. However, I can't recall the last time I ever needed to add ketchup to any fried seafood.

A lot of the platters come with fries...

You must have missed his other thread, and probably don't have a refined enough palate (or refined enough dining experience) to have encountered and been able to appreciate true "quality" fries.

I thought fries were a vehicle for ketchup, gravy, cheese, ranch dressing, tarter sauce and the like. So, today, I've learned that I must eat them nekkid, which I sometimes do. Is salt okay?

Don't eat at a restaurant that has pictures of the food on it's menu.
