I think it's pretty good. Not exactly a milk stout connysewer though.

I'm just fricking with you.

I compared it in my mind to a Rogue Chocolate Stout(Which I like a lot) and it tasted like a freaking Guinness to me. I was severely disappointed by that beer.

Don't think the Rogue has lactose in it.

You didn't get any creaminess from Young's?

I don't think it does either.

I was expecting a Double Chocolate Stout based on the name. It tasted like a slightly richer Guinness to me.

I had it poured from the can if that matters?

It's been a long long time since I've had it but with a name like Double Chocolate stout I was expecting a lot.

The last few times I've had it I mixed it with a lambic. Now that's a nice dessert beer.

I doubt I'll try it again. Too many others out there that are WAY more interesting.

I feel like we're inundated with sub-par foreign and "crafty" domestic beers in this state.

Kind of like all those shitty Bad Santa beers that come out during christmas time and fill the endcaps and shelves for a month with 8 different christmas beers.

I agree. There's alot of shelf space being taken up with this stuff.

I dont understand the praise it gets. It's always been very malty for my liking. Maybe ive just gotten old ones.

Not a fan of Great Divide for this reason.

I mentioned this in yesterday's FBD thread. List is pointless for me because I'm always in exploration mode and there's so much stuff we don't get here. It would be pages long and be revised before noon tomorrow probably.
