Fort Worth’s own Best Maid Pickles and Martin House Brewing Company have teamed up to bring you a Sour Pickle Beer and a Craft Beer Pickle. We’ll be canning this DILL-icious Sour Beer in mid-August 2019. With the brewery just down the road from the Best Maid Pickles factory, this is a collaboration that is sure to DILL-ight both beer and pickle fans.

The base for the Sour Pickle beer is Martin House’s famous Salty Lady Sour Gose. Best Maid Pickles’ Dill Brine is added to the beer during the brewing process. The end result is a refreshing and pickle-y sour/salty combination that will certainly hit the spot during these hot summer days.

The Best Maid Craft Beer Pickle is modeled after the inclusions in the Salty Lady brewing process. This fresh-pack pickle has toasted coriander, lemon zest and added sour to achieve the salty and sour flavor that people have come to love from the Salty Lady beer.

Both the pickle beer and beer pickle were launched in August 2019 as a limited time offering. The beer will likely come back summer 2020. It is only available in certain parts of Texas.

I made a cucumber gose once. It was really good, but i noticed that the flavor was very familiar. It tasted a bit like pickle juice.

You beer nerds are about to ruin beer with this crap. The pumpkin, lactose and sweet tart beers are bad enough.

I’m waiting for a craft place to make a “beer flavored beer.”

So something that tastes like Budweiser? Parish and St Arnold both make pilsners. Both taste better than Bud.

At Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the tunneling electron microscope. Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe. If I were using that microscope right now, I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in this beer.

You misinterpreted my comment. All of these beers are flavored like fruit and now pickles. I’m waiting for them to market the beer as “beer flavored beer” “Pilsner flavored ipa” the actual juice would just be beer, but that might be the only way nerds would drink it.
