I went to the one in covington to grab a bite on the way home from out of town work a few months ago. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant, with the overwhelming feeling that they wanted us to leave.
I asked them very politely, that if they were closing up in an hour, if they would rather us just catch them another time, due to the fact the hostess had to look to the bartender as to whether they could seat us an hour before close, AND the death stares I was getting from the meat heads chugging beer at the bar.
Long story short. No fried food, bc the cooks decided to cut the fryers off an hour before close. No fries, no fried chicken wrap, only grilled things. No chips and salsa, bc the cooks didnt wanna make any salsa.
frick this place, I hope they call go under. They will never see another dime of my money.
I always pimped the one in Gonzales by Mike Andersons, but never again.

I've been there once and that was enough. Awful service.
This. The one in Lafayette isn't that great either. Very slow service for a restaurant that was not even half way filled when I went on a Saturday.

I haven't been back since 2 bad experiences in September / October.

ha, EXACT same shite. It's not like it was right before closing. It was at least an hour before closing, if not more.

WOW is awful. The food isn't good, the prices aren't good, and as everyone knows the service sucks.
And as for BWW in the Covington area, it is in the works. That is all I can say.

Hmmm. I've been driving by this place in Gonzales almost daily and never been in there. Wonder how in the hell do they stay open with the little business they have there. This place has got to be on its death bed in G-town. Unless they just enjoy losing money.
Never been in there and probably never will by reading these reviews.

is this the most unanimous smashing of a local place in board history? i think it might be.
i am impressed that they can manage to have a corner location on Magazine Street, near a university, and still sit largely empty a lot of the time.

They actually have one in this shithole town of Brewton, AL that I had to go to for work one time as well. Very weird to find one there.

And deservedly so. I don't know one person that has had a good meal at any location they have.

my wife just reminded me of the last straw.
after the 1st bad experince mentioned in the beginning (September), we went back in October.
Last Straw: Kids grilled cheese comes out at the 40th minute or so.... (ok we are used to that time delay now), but it is black / burnt. The waitress dropped it off and left asap.
My 5 year old tried to take one bite, but it really wasn't edible. We walked out and never looked back. Maybe someone else got to eat the order of wings, and 2 entrees on order, but who knows if they ever came out.

How is the one in Slidell by the mall? Same story, different location?

That is Obama for you. Damn lazy workers want to be taken care of so they don't have to work.
