i also noticed they are about to open a poke fast food type place on bluebonnet

For some reason, I dont feel like I want to get a raw fish type meal rolling through a drive thru as if Im ordering popeyes

I think he's talking about women going get their hair done at Rigsby Frederick. But yeah, I'm not really into the poke thing but I can already see that's about to be oversaturated.

Two Southfins, Poke Loa, Aloha, the new poke place on Burbank, Poke City on Bluebonnet.

yep... he doesnt seem to have a problem of getting women to keep coming back regardless of how bad that entrance is

Yes it certainly is. I was beginning Southfin to open a location near me, but the longer I live out here the more I realize they are like Izzo's. One every few miles.

TBH I dont think you can be super successful serving just Poke

Southfin would disagree, currently. A few years from now when the fad is something else, no so anymore, but for now, they are killing it.

exactly!!

we tried blue taco last friday... my dish was pretty good but portions are kinda small for "mexican" standards

I thought I would love Southfin, but I just never go. I went 2 or 3 times and nothing really brings me back. I spend almost 20 bucks on a bowl and drink and I am hungry 2 hours later.

Hymels in Convent, while not Baton Rouge metro, is significant and unexpected. Many great times there.
