I guess my question was more along the lines of.. have you been to Piccadilly before and you're saying this is worse than it normally is? (In which case, that sucks for me)

Or that this was your first Piccadilly experience and you weren't a fan? (In which case, MORE FOR ME!)

i got the chicken fried steak... i gave it a 3 out of 10. It passed the eye test but the batter was real soggy. The gravy was super thin. D milk might have been thicker.

Mac and cheese was bland as shite

green beans were green beans

SO got the fried chicken and said it was not great.

Like I said, with Rouses being right in the area, i would go there before this place.

I think eating at Piccadilly is more of a nostalgia thing going back to your childhood when you go eat after Sunday Church.....or maybe that's just me. Saying that, I love the ground patty with mac and cheese and broccoli rice. Sure it all needs heavy salt and pepper, but it reminds me of simpler times.

Bar Louie is definitely done for. Got ghetto after awhile.

Got ghetto? I went to the grand opening and it was ghetto then.

The last time I was there, Richard Condon was doing a remote for his shitty radio show. That ain't ghetto, that's for the crowd that says bullshite like "HOW COME THEY HAVE BLACK HISTORY MONTH BUT NOT WHITE HISTORY MONTH?"

I can't believe that Francois place on Bluebonnet is still open. I never see anyone there

I cant believe anyone would want to have a restaurant there. That location is doomed to hell

Mooyah on Lee Drive is gone.

"The Lee Drive Mooyah opened in summer 2017 in the Lee Drive Retail Center."

That's pretty quick to throw in the towel. I get not wanting to continue losing money but giving it less than 18 months to shut down?

Lee has alot of potential... Mooyah and Hilal guys need to go and replaced with something that is not a chain

The shopping center across the street could use a much needed reno and try to add something else

I think the right restaurant could work there. It's actually much better since they added additional parking. I wish Louisiana Lagniappe would move there. Parking at their current location sucks.

The former Applebee’s location in Perkins Rowe has been vacant for years now. I wonder what, if anything, could work out in that spot.

Entirely agree.

Unless it’s a unique concept with a lot of money thrown at it, I think a decent chain is the best bet. I don’t love chains, but a random Lebanese or poboy shop isn’t going to cut it there.

There were rumors they were putting a Zoe’s Kitchen in the development with Rouses, but I haven’t heard that in a year or so. If that’s not happened, the Mooyah spot is prime for it. People love Zoe’s, especially college age girls. The Towne Center one has people fighting for tables.

would love that honestly

Wonder if a counter culture would do well in the shopping center with Papa Johns

Yeah and they’re opening an Atomic Burger down the street..

Although I’ve never been and some here say it’s good.

Bar Louie

Are there once while waiting on the Apple nerds to fix my phone. Didn’t think it was that bad, but it had a lot of competition in such a small area.

Last time I went to the Orchard store I was surprised at how many restaurants were vacant in (just) that stretch of real estate. I think theses guys need to do a little more research before they open up shop.
