What do you want to pay? I’m kind of ignorant outside of northern Italy and Tuscan wines. Brunellos are always a treat but can be pricy. Banfi has some great Chianti’s under $15 at most grocery stores.

Vietti for an excellent Arneis (White) or Nebbiolo.

Late notice, but Rouses on Hwy 22 in Mandeville has the Boggle petite sirah on sale for like $7.50 a bottle. I think it ends today.

That is a steal for a nightly drinker

Went to whole foods this afternoon. Grabbed two Sangioveses for under $9 each. Will see how they turn out. Gran Conti and Globerati. The ratings on Vivino are surprisingly good for such cheap bottles.

I finally made my Italian selections at my local store today. Far south regions are apparently scarce there...

Can anyone comment on these?
Reds:
1. Masseria Altemura Primitivo (Zin) Salento 2016
2. Buglioni Valpolicella Superiore 2014

White:
Soave i prandi 90% Garganega 10% Trebbiano 2017

I can’t remember if you’re in BR, but Calandros on Perkins has a really vast wine selection and they made a post with some Italians just a few days ago.

That's too bad. It's really a haul for me to get that far down Perkins now days. I go the gov't one, which I hear has a more limited selection. Thanks!

Yes, ever since I ran across it at Costco for $9.89

$14.99 at local grocery store! Fantastic for sub $10.
