That was supposed to be “having” not “hating”.

Sort of a big difference.

Lots of wine tonight. It might all suck to you .. Idk. But I haven’t hated anything. I’ve enjoyed it all.

The first two were over $100 but those are restaurant prices. The third was a bottle my friend’s husband accidentally opened from their wedding day. The fourth is because I’m home.

Argiano Brunello di Montalcino 2014

Inglenook Cabernet 2014

Hanover Winery Tempranillo

Educated Guess

How did oyu like the Brunello, LL? That's still a very young wine by Brunello standards.

I don't see a thing wrong with what you had. Drink what you enjoy.

TBH.. I didn’t order it and found it kinda just okay because I’m a Cabernet person. I’m glad it’s what we started with for sure.

But I also know nothing about that style. I didn’t dislike it by any means.

A glass of Brunello I had in Florence was the single best glass of wine I’ve ever drank. I rarely get it because it’s so expensive here but damn is it good.

I would guess at that age the tannins and acidity are still very pronounced.

They are. That Argiano is a really solid bottle. Just needs decanting and it's fine.

I have, and it's very good.

Keenan is on a short list of wineries that, if I could only drink from their wine catalog, I'd be just fine and dandy with that situation.

Got two different Arneis, one filtered one unfiltered.

It’ll be interesting to see how they vary.

This has been the best find I’ve had in a long long time. It was $10 at a local Publix and I haven’t found it since then.

The best grocery store wine I’ve ever bought IMO
