Anyone ever been? Going in late September. What are your favorite Pinots?

Went a few weeks ago. We visited three vineyards. To be honest, I wasn’t overly impressed with any of them. Probably because I knew how much they were selling for.
We visited David Hill, Montinore, and Fairsing. Perhaps we didn’t go far enough south, but it was fun and I’d do it again.
What do I enjoy from the region? Give me Underwood ($12) or Walnut City ($18) from Rouses any day.
Another unpopular opinion: I like Columbia Valley Cabs more than Willamette Pinots

Copied from your travel board thread.
Domains Serene is superb.
Big Table Farm makes some excellent Pinot.
Cristom is another favorite too.
Penner-Ash Pinot has never disappointed. Very good juice.
Never actually been there. Just like those wines.

Went back in April. I would second Penner-Ash. Great juice in a killer location. We also enjoyed DePonte Cellars. Stoller had some decent wines as well.

Went a few years ago and stayed at The Allison. Ones that stick out were Utopia and Yamhill. Get a driver fo at least one day and have them show you around while you get sloshed.
Food at Allison was good and The Painted Lady was awesome.

Is Archery Summit still a winery? Because their Pinot Noir was good 12 years ago.

Ribbon Ridge is where you want to be. Not heavily advertised, but most local folks will tell you that it has the best pinots. Don’t underestimate the Chards if you like light oak. Most in area are really good, just lite in the oak. Woodard wines is a great first day. Call them and set up a tasting and JEFF will teach you abou the different areas before you begin. He and his r make a pretty good Pinot too. I liked him bc he has us taste a French Pinot then the Oregon appellation based upon the French cutting. Learned a lot. He is an outdoors guy, so not an Oregon lefty. Le Puy /peu is a great BB for a place to stay.

We went about 11 years ago. I don't remember all the winerys and tasting rooms we hit, but it was a good number. After a while, you got tired of the typical NW Pinot Noir flavor profile (I perfer French Pinot Noir). There are a number of Chardonnays available too.
Before arriving in the Willimatte, we went to a few wineries in the Umpqua Valley west of Crater Lake. The wineries there specialize in Rhone varieties. They were very good, but a little expensive. We were members of the Reustle Prayer Rock Vineyard Winery mailing list for several years after; until they dropped us because we were the only customers in La. In 2010 or so they were named small winery of the year by some publication.

Went about 8 years ago for 10 days. Loved it. Wish I remember what vineyards and wineries we went to. I will try to find the names.
Not sure you are into this but if you can go fishing on the McKenzie with a guide, you should.
