Love me some casing, and I'm moderately grossed out by things. I think it's because I tried it before knowing what it was.

You gotta crisp it.

Oven, grill....whatever.

If it's rubbery, it's outta here.

If it breaks easily, I eat it. If it is chewy and rubbery, I don't.

I ate a link from Billy's a few minutes ago. I usually grill it or bake it and then I eat it all, but this time around I threw it in the microwave for a couple minutes and squeezed it out of the casing. Nothing against taste, I just don't like the rubbery texture.

You're eating the natural casing and not the synthetic. No problem here.

Not joking- I never knew you weren't supposed to eat it until I was in my 20s

Didn't know any other way.

Well if people would stop steaming their boudin and put it on the grill like God intended...

We didn't eat it when I was growing up because it was usually rubbery. Now it's often easy to eat. Which one is the natural casing?
