Louisiana Hot Sauce. Thick, flavorful, not just pepper sauce.

I like Tabasco on raw oysters, but prefer Louisiana or Trappey's Bull on anything else. Tabasco just doesn't enhance the flavor of a dish for me, it seems like all it does is make the dish taste more like Tabasco.

They all have their place.
I like Crystal in my buffalo sauce.
I like Louisiana on my pizza.
I like Tobasco in red beans and rice.

This. On everything.

I like Tobasco, Crystal, Louisiana, Sriracha and Cholula. They all have their strong points. I use them all.

It's my go to for anything with seafood and ketchup.

Just thinking about Tobasco on red beans and rice has my mouth watering.

True. But I'd rather just use pepper sauce in my red beans.

My favorite has Tabasco peppers in it, but is not made by Tabasco.

In Virginia and North Carolina when I ask for Tabasco they always bring Texas Pete MADE in North Carolina! Awful...my wife carries Tabasco in her purse so her Louisiana husband doesnt get pissed for having that watered down ketsup pushed on him as a hot sauce.

Trapleys is made in NEW JERSEY!!! Kinda like NOLa with the same northern accent.

Tabasco Sriracha is delicious, btw.

The vast majority of Americans think hot sauce is hot sauce, ones as good as the other, they buy a bottle of Tabasco and keep it until in turns brown. As you can see from the posters here, we are a bit more sophisticated about hot sauce, different sauces for different dishes.
I love my Tabasco, but I love sriracha and several others that I keep around. One for gumbo, one for beans, one for an oyster loaf, etc..

My new personal favorite hot sauce is made by Slap Ya Mama.
I like the taste but it's not spicy. I like Louisiana for hot sauce but mostly use Sriracha for everything else.

I love the Tabasco Habenero and Sriracha for everyday use. I like really, really hot hot sauces, so none of mine are going to be "go to" hot sauces.

Crystal is the goat
The only one I usually use is Crystal.
Sometimes Louisiana Hot Sauce.
Never Tabasco.

Seems like it would be the GOAT for people from Louisiana,
Louisiana, Crystal, Cajun Chef, Panola all make better hot sauces, IMO.

Garbage. I bought a 4-pack from a boy scout three years ago. I tasted them all, and three quarters of each bottle are still in the back of my cabinet.

Garbage.
How did you get 1/4 of a bottle of hot sauce down?
