same. I’ve had one disappointing canes experience in my life that I can remember and that was at like 1:30 am so I just chalked that up to them being at the bottom of the barrel food wise.

Just gotta operate it with regular employees. Maybe they’ll put one in there once BR gets the hockey team and there are more events and regularly scheduled events in the arena.

Most places that do coupons has service that sucks. Popeyes, BK, etc. You wanna save a dollar and sacrifice service? I'd rather pay the dollar.

They should be the size of tic-tacs by now.

They vary in size depending on the day of the week you get them. They use never frozen chicken and the few extra days the chickens are alive for the Mon-Thu sales are bigger than the weekend sales. The management team at each store is well aware of the average size of the tenders they are serving, they track it but I don't see them doing anything about the inconsistency.

Nothing is cheap and raw meat is at the top of the consumer expensive list.

They don’t need to do coupons. Coupons are designed to bring in customers. My local canes’ drive through line wraps completely around the building ever day at mealtime.

The only thing I could see is coupons for off hours… extra sauce, toast, etc from 1-4 pm.

One time, I’d say 2005ish, Tigers men’s basketball team was up big and 2 points away from a free Canes combo. With 8 seconds or so left in the game, Big Baby casually dribbles the ball to half court, stops and eyes the student section. Everyone was yelling “Shoot! Shoot!” He first acted like he wasn’t going to shoot, then smiled, put up the shot and drained it, student section went crazy.

Cane’s gives out coupons by the pound. However, they give them to schools mainly.

I can tell you first hand that each store has a significant dollar amount in their budget to donate to fundraising. When they claim that they are involved in their local communities in their commercials……they are stating the truth.

I paid $1.99/lb for boneless skinless for years. Then Fauci happened. It was aboot $4/lb a few months ago, and is now down to $2.97. Still up aboot 50%.

Discounting food means it was never worth it to begin with.

And plus franchisees generally hate the big chain discounts because they force you into less profits.

What restaurant groups don’t do this?

I have no idea. I just know how much and how often the local (Metairie) Cane’s donate to my schools.

They all do.

Chic fi la used to donate to my school.

If you go around the various little league parks you see restaurant groups sponsoring the sports teams or the park.

I’m sort of just pointing out he’s not doing anything different than what other people do.

Smh, I'm glad you got to use your gif but the market prices are back to pre pandemic prices. I'm not talking about what you pay at the store. I'm actually bringing up the point that what you pay won't go down while market prices have

If you’ve ever worked in the food industry you’d know that coupons are absolute hell. Typically it brings the trash out in droves and 90 percent of them abuse their intended use. I’ve seen 1 person take a pic of their coupon and then group text it to everyone at the table who then all claim they too have a coupon. Then there is coupon stacking which is also a complete pain in the arse too. Smart business has moved away from them and to single use unique code coupons or no coupons at all

I had Canes last week. It cost me $9.91 including tax for a 3 finger combo. The fingers were small tough and soggy. But it was the Carrollton location so I should have known.
