I certainly don’t hate it. With that said, I really have to be in the mood for it to go.

That's not true. We love Monjuni's.

I once went there for lunch and got some lasagna to go. I took it back to my office and and saw the lasagna was partially FROZEN.

No self-respecting Italian uses sweet sauce.

You think any restaurant makes lasagna to order?

Yes, a lot of Italians like a sweet sauce, I was taught to use copious amounts of red wine, not a sweet wine, instead of sugar. My sauce gets a lot of raves.

Monjuni's is a nice place, service it good, people are pleasant, but the sauce is cloyingly sweet for me. I had no idea you could get a sauce without all the sugar, I don't see it on the menu and I've never asked.

I don't really like the red sauce, but their alfredo sauce is even worse

Yeah, they don't do a good job of letting you know it exists. But if you look at the menu, some items come with their "famous original sauce", and others come with tomato basil sauce. Tomato basil is basically red sauce without all the sugar.

I loved their sauce! Not being in BR anymore I actually get cravings for it sometimes. It's not something I would eat regularly, but I did enjoy it periodically.
