Yes, 2 states are consistently wrong.

think the majority of people who go to high end restaurants and refuse to drink anything other than beer are usually the types who order Miller Lite or Coors Light no matter the setting. Others who appreciate craft beer would probably appreciate a nice old fashioned or glass of wine when at a nice restaurant.

I like better
I like wine
I like liquor

My favorite is beer, and if there is a good better on tap I'll definitely have one or two. I may opt to not drink if I'm not feeling like wine or liquor. Although I usually do enjoy a dirty martini on the rocks in that case.

Anyway, i don't think anyone is asking restaurants to wholesale buy into craft beer and toss out BMC, but it'd be nice if some of the stubborn places would put at least one jucifer, envie, holy roller, etc on tap.

Hell, I would even appreciate a canebrake or paradise Park. Most BMC drinkers are good with those.

I think a good steak pairs very well with a high ABV barleywine. I'd prefer that over wine.

In South LA the lack of beers are probably due to distribution.

They do this because it’s what profits them the most.

It’s really not that complicated.

I'm sorry you hate good things.

How is craft beer only a millenial thing?

What gets me is some restaurants ONLY have craft beer.

Yeah, the nerve to have beer with flavor on a menu.

I guess by fine dining, you must be thinking dining in at McDonald's, as opposed to the drive thru. I mean, million can't be wrong, right?

I never understand how people are willing to go to a nice restaurant (obviously not joeleblanc). Pay a little extra to have a good creative meal. Pay extra for a decent glass of wine or bourbon. But when asked for craft beer the response is "NO, give me the flavorless cheap shite. Good beer has no place here!". There is this mindset that beer should only have one flavor. And that flavor is water.

Including bringing in the anti craft beer folks who for some reason can’t stand discussion on a food and drink board about good beer

Lol I don’t hate good things. Sorry that I have a cultured palate and you would prefer do drink something that tastes bad. It really doesn’t take much skill to make a craft beer. Look at how many are in the market yet pale in comparison in sales to “watered down beer “

Sounds like a nerve has been touched. Don’t get your panties in a wad over it.

I assume your “cultured palate” thinks Kraft American Singles are the best representation of cheese as well.

How did you guess? But the ones that are individually wrapped. Velveeta runs a close second. Anything else??
