I've driven to EBR to have dinner.

Can't say the same for JP.

Just reading the ad nauseam of dumping on Metry restaurants and saying hey, well, JP is certainly bigger than Metry, from the lakefront, through Mississippi River down towards the gulf headed to Grand Isle. Not dumping on BR.

I don’t know enough about the BR scene, but Jefferson Parish has better restaurants than they probably get credit for

By a landslide? We not counting fast food places. BR is the winner there.

Yea i grew up in metairie. JP has a lot of fast food and chain restaurants. There are good spots for sure, but BR has more places you can actually hang out in and grab some good food/drinks. JP crushing the small neighborhood bars and old people Italian restaurants.

To me, JP by a country mile. There are some awesome hidden gems in Kenner all up and down Williams, plus a slew of places on the WestBank that many EastBankers totally ignore. JP has a more diverse dining scene.

EBR might have more middle-of-the-road places trying to be upscale, but for sheer variety, JP all the way.

And surely EBR has more chains and crap fast food, no?
