Used to be Strohe's sausage made in Welsh. Mom was from there and that was our breakfast sausage growing up. Closest taste I ever had was Cracker Barrel Whole Hog sausage patties.

There’s an outfit at the crescent city farmers market I buy from. Black Creek Farm. Really good. They are from picayune

Breakfast sausage should always be in patty form

So no sausage gravy? No breakfast casserole?

This, sir, is an incorrect statement.

Iverstine makes a really good breakfast sausage that isn't too fatty.

I gotta say having 'whole hog' in the name of the sausage patty is not really appetizing. Unless you love porcine anus and the like.

Do yourself a flavor and get the breakfast sausage links from Billys. You can buy frozen from the freezer or fresh from the fridge. I'd guess they come around 10-15 to the pack.
