403 has RV room on weekend series if you get there early

How does 403 compare to the gravel lot 412? And do you think 403 would be full if I were to get there Saturday morning around 9AM

Ask them if they have any extra room. My name is Carl. I have a Cinderella story I can tell them.

Carl you are welcome to attend. Your Cinderella story needs to be told.

The wife and I have a getaway planned for tomorrow through Wednesday in Frederickberg, TX. Thinking about leaving a day early (today) to make travel easier. I'm guessing Houston would be a good stopping point along the way. Any must eats if stopping just for a night in/around Houston?? What say thee board?

Any notes on Fredericksberg would also be appreciated

morning yall

Bayou Teche Brewery is a very cool vibe for weekend day drinking. Usually a small old time cajun band quitely playing outside with fantastic pizza and unique apps. Though you're bound to run in to a few gypsies, it's a great place in the middle of nowhere thats kid and pet friendly.

Joe T's is a great place to sit on the patio and have a margarita or beer. The food is below average. No one goes there for the food.

Was set on Lonesome Dove but lunch hours during the week are non-existent :banghead:

Researching now...My young kids are picky eaters. Lonesome Dove would be last on their list lol

Weather should be ideal for patio seating. Older stockyards threads seem to shite on this place but I imagine its not terrible and atmosphere is a plus

Second Rodeo is a cool place as well.

Researching this one as well.

Ok, so Lonesome Dove is worth the hype as opposed to sizzlers AKA Cattlemans...Thanks :nana:
Headed to Dallas area w/ family for mini vacation...We have one day to explore and considering stockyards since we've never been. I know there are a ton of options, just trying to avoid tourist traps.
