These are the closest to the old school Tom’s Snacks BBQ chips from when I was a kid. Only chips I allow myself to eat.

Zapps has been dethroned by Dirty Chips for some time. Lays are garbage.
Golden Flake Sweet Heat BBQ are a great budget chip.

Gibbles. Grandma Utz...... hands down. They are so good. Gibbles are really hard to get. We used to get them when we'd take family trips up to Pennsylvania and they are so good.
They're thin, like Lay's, but they're fried in lard. I know....
but the taste is insane.
Zapps were really good before they changed. They're not as crunchy now and I don't like those thin Zapps.
I saw somewhere that the old Lay's Crunch Tators are being made, probably for a limited time, but they were a good kettle cooked chip.

We can’t buy them because I can’t control myself with them.
Same here. They would be gone in 60 seconds!!! I buy a bag every 3 or 4 months.
The Great Value brand are just as good.

92 posts above this one. I should give a thumbs up to all of them. I am not sure I ever met a potato chip I didn't like enough to eat the entire bag if I had a chance.
That is the main reason I try to stay away frrom them.
Webster's Dictionary defines Potato Chip as "The perfect vehicle for salt and flavoring delivery. Also not a bad way to get Green Onion Dip from the container to your mouth." I agree with this defination 100%.

Just for clarification. You are thinking of the singer "Houston"
Fetty wap was born with glaucoma in both eyes. Looked it up after eating those chips because they were awesome. They have them at Sam's and Rouses.
