what do you think about the sherry sagamore?

It punched me hard first sip, could be my allergies though. After half the pour I was able to start finding some flavors, herbalness from the rye and a fruit finish from the sherry. I'm gonna try it again tomorrow and see what happens

SPD let's try the Double Oaked, I really love this one and would give it the nod over the sherry finish but more research is necessary

How do you like the K-Luke?
I tried some last week and enjoyed it. Haven’t been able to find any around Houma/Thibodaux

Are y'all buying Michter's Barrel Strength Bourbon at $100?

Debating on going back for it. It's rare for me to pull the trigger on a $100 bottle though

They are different, and both are great. That sherry finish is right in my wheelhouse, so it's takes the win for me. I'm going to do a side by side with MWND soon and see how they compare.

Isn't that a Maisano's only? It's MGP that he hand picked and named after his two children. I'm not sure how widespread these will be. Anyone have more info on these than this? I'm sure there's more to it than the little I know.

I think it might be their blend as well.

Got this recommendation from Zappas post last week. Pepper and oak with a spiced finish, overall not bad. Thanks for sharing!

Another decent pickup today, a few things have been easier to acquire from the distributor in the last week.

Also, I really like this 10 year. I think it is better pick than the 16 year for the money.

Try to get the BRT-02, suppose to be a completely different flavor profile, 01 was at the top of the rick house, and 02 was at the bottom in french oak instead of American.

Michters Barrel Strength anything is well worth 100.

Kluke is available in quite a few places throughout Mississippi, not just at Maisano's (your best bet is definitely Maisano's though). It's expanding to Louisiana early next year. I do think expansion will be limited due to his insistence on high quality though. Don't hesitate to buy if you see it.

Had a couple at a restaurant. Rittenhouse Manhattan
