Last night line up in a blind test.
The numbers indicate first to last based on my blind tastings.
Selections were random.
First two up was ER and Blantons. ER being the winner
Next two up was Jack10 and 4R with 4R being the winner.
Both of these were bettter than the two from the first round but I had to stick to my bracket. Otherwise I’d say my order would be
4R Jack10 ER Blantons

Other than OGD 114 that mash bill is pretty anemic. The OGD BIB works well for cocktails. The Basil Hayden’s stuff is way under proof. If JB wanted to make a statement they would release a Basil Hayden SB BP.

I love the the 1920 at 115 proof and the 100 proof is a good pour.

Sagamore Double Oak is excellent, if you come across the Rum cask, I recommend getting it. Cheers !!

I’ll have to keep my eye out. I don’t really have any finished whiskey.

Sagamores are great. Just killed a Nola bourbon fest pick of Sagamore, I also have the Sagamore 9 year. To me its the rye for people that say they do not like rye

Agreed, Sagamore is very approachable, well connected which makes it an easy sipper.
