Can't get imgur to upload the first picture, but this is a blind tasting of straight ryes: Michters barrel strength, OC batch 9, EHT, and Martin's the Senator.

Michters BSR and the OC were a clear step above the other two. MBSR is rich and has chewy caramel, tobacco, and spice. OC is more herbal and minty with a lighter mouthfeel, but also finishes strong with spice. I gave the nod to MBSR.

2pd is a good pick from Maisano's.

Found a bottle of Michter’s Straight Rye and Weller Special Reserve this past weekend.

Haven’t opened them yet though.

They definitely taste better opened. That Michters sib rye is a really solid value. Their barrel strength rye is outstanding.

Good evening gentlemen. Starting with a blind between 2019 GTS and Heaven hill 17. They are essentially within a proof point.

Both were enjoyable, but GTS prevailed. The cherry,oak, caramel, and char notes are delicious.
