Previous round was close, but the cinnamon/spice of the RR ultimately made the difference.
Last one for tonight (it's only Monday after all) features two comparably priced ryes within four proof points. Unfortunately one is nearly impossible to find these days.
Update: this wasn't close. I've been enjoying the RR by itself, but the head to head really reminded me of how good the EHT is.

Glad you enjoyed it! I'll have to look to see which store that's from, but I really like those 4R picks in general.

Evening fellas, been a while since I’ve been in this one. Chilled out drinking bourbon for several months for no reason really, but I’m making my way back to it. Hope all is well.

I had a chance to get that Glenalachie in Tennessee two weeks ago, but I went with the 12yr instead. The 12 is great, but I’m reading that 10 CS is something special. Ugh.

Good afternoon gentlemen. 1pd is a fresh crack
Update: same proof and label as last year's batch pointed to an attempt to replicate, not innovate. Just one pour in, but mission accomplished in terms of maintaining the flavor profile and quality.

I was fortunate enough to come across another wu sample so a blind head to head with the NOBF is a no brainer.
Update: WU edges out NOBF. WU has more cinnamon and dill while NOBF features more mint. WU is lighter, but a little more complex.
