I actually had the same ranking and also plan to do another round. They're both thoroughly enjoyable.
I haven't had as many different ones as you, but one thing I really like is the variety between picks.
On a somewhat related note, is the rye you sent me a WU pick or NOBF? I had the NOBF at a restaurant before getting yours. I wasn't sure how many ryes hit the market. Yours is the same proof so I just assumed they'd be the same, not thinking about the possibility of multiple releases. The reason I'm asking is because I got some different notes (less mint). However I wasn't sure if that was due to my palate (and not a direct head to head) or if they're different releases.
Fortunately I still have half of a sample left and plan to revisit tomorrow. It's very good! Thanks for including it.

It’s WU, interesting that they had the same proof.

Anyone had the old elk barrel select from Calandros ? It’s actually Bowie Outfitters on the bottle but picked up a bottle yesterday, haven’t cracked it open yet

Started with a blind head to head of Willett ryes. This was a slaughter and the fight was stopped immediately. I then tried old carter batch 9 (unpictured) and that was at least respectable, but the 7yr easily won. This is one of the best ryes I've tasted.

Dnwsr how’s that Blackened Cask Strength? I passed on one the other day on the shelf. I was hesitant to spend the $70.

Fresh crack due to peer pressure

I bought a cask strength pick (TW)a while back for around 60. I'd describe it as pretty good. It gets hate (maybe deservedly so) for the gimmicky sound stuff, but the actual product is solid.
For 70, you're getting into ECBP territory and it's just not on that level.
The one from tonight is a special release. I think retail was 140, but the juice is from willett and averages 6.5 years. It's also pretty good, but willett clearly didn't give up their best barrels.
2pd is the oakiest rye I've had. It reminds me of a good old Forester sib and EC18 more than any rye. I'm enjoying it.

Martins got a barrel pick in last week. It’s really really good. I believe the Metairie store is out but if come across one elsewhere you should get it.

This probably wouldn't have been on my radar if not for the reviews on this thread. It's definitely a good one.

This is Total Wine In Lafayette (which i usually turn my nose up to). But a bunch of guys got it and were gushing over it. Can confirm it’s really good

Sadly I missed out on the Martin's pick, but was able to get one of the TW picks. Haven't cracked it yet, but will do so soon.
