re: Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch Volume III

Ended up doing a blind tasting while enjoying the s'mores, which really brought or the toasted flavors. I was able to pick each one out, but only because the woodford double oaked was significantly darker than the OF and EC. Ranking on taste, give me the 1910, ECTB, then the double oaked. Each whiskey had an element of s'mores stand out to me. 1910 had caramelized marshmallow. Toasted Barrel gave me lots of honey graham cracker. And I got a lot of chocolate notes in the woodford, which I like a lot in wine but not as much in this. Still very good though, just found the other two to be better.

I want all the WJ. Have the 10yr and decadence. Both are delicious!

I’m not a huge fan of rye neat. More of a Scotch/Bourbon guy.

But that High West double rye makes a damn good old fashioned

The old pepper store pick rye that have been coming out have been delicious as well for not as much and easier to find
