Damn I need to get back into scotch. Hell of a price for an 18 year old whiskey.

4PD Pizza is done, think I used a bit too much yeast, but it was good anyway

Also, throwing another mashbill #1 against the ERs

Tried the Gold Rush again tonight with a little twist. Really good change of pace.

Their 1792 full proof pick is quite good. Great prices on wine too

I am picking up that actual 1792 barrel on Monday. Gonna turn it into a whiskey cabinet. Dave and Jerry know how to take care of their customers.

I’ve pinned a few diy YouTube videos.

The half arse easy way is to cut out a square opening and add a shelf in the middle and leave it open with no door.

But the legit way is to cut out the square and then glue the slats back together and hinge it back as a door. It also involves cutting the steel bands and glueing them back onto the door. It’s a lot of work. But I’m gonna knock it out in the next few weeks. I’ll post the steps as I complete.

I think sanding the inside residue is gonna be a bitch. We will see.

Unk had one made into a licka cabinet and it’s pretty bad arse. I’ll get him to post pics. I have some on my back porch just as deco but you have to screw the bands on or they will fall once it shrinks.

HC2 how are you mixing that up?

Ok I pulled out some scotch from my cpl bottle supply

Not a bad pull Midget

Pure luck! I thought I was done with my February buys, and I just so happened to see it when going to grab my wife’s liquid heroin.

Funny because I knew nothing about this particular scotch until Bud started a big conversation on it yesterday. The dominoes all fell in my favor this time, because it is really good.

Sometimes it's just the right place at the right time. Happens every once in a while.
