I bet you can find some great vermouth there.

Went there for my honeymoon in 2016 (Rome and Amalfi Coast). Found one store in Rome with a good whiskey selection and they had Pappy 15 for well over 1000 euro. Didn’t find anything on the Amalfi Coast.

Your best bet is to grab some scotch from duty free at the airport. Which airport do you connect through in Europe? I flew through Dublin and their airport has a great duty free.

Just stop into bottle shops in the neighborhood you’re staying. I came across several Blanton’s Gold & SFTB on our European trips for 75-125 euros, but each time I wasn’t in a position where I could ship out.

Worth checking, though our $30 bourbons are usually 40-50 euro over there in most places.

This is what I was figuring. My main goal is to find some scotch, and the bourbon finds would be a secondary shot in the dark.

To the above poster, we are going straight into Rome from Phili. No European stops in between .

Gonna be having some more of the Noble Oak Tonight.

3 day road trip back home ahead of us, waking up at 4 AM tomorrow to get on the road. Trying to chill out. Pretty good bit of anxiety.

Woods High Mountain Distillery , they distill and age on premises. 4 yr old whiskey, not bad, hot so could use some more age.

Is the Rye better? Typically rye doesn’t need as much age as bourbon.

Definitely is better. Has some cherry and chocolate notes.

Start of the long weekend with the 1PD. Re-visiting after it being open for a few weeks. Flavors are much more pronounced, rounded, and deep. Love the lower proof point. Well done, Heaven Hill
