I haven’t had this particular batch, but all the ones I’ve had are great.
Might be my favorite non-Islay Scotch.

Adding to our Springbank 12Y/O Cask Strength range this year we have the latest addition to engulf the senses. This batch strays away from the regular Sherry, Bourbon mix with a couple of surprises; 45% Sherry, 25% Bourbon, 25% Burgundy, 5% Port.

Thoughts on High West rendezvous rye limited supply? Just picked up a bottle in Pensacola.

Is it un American to drink tequila on the eve of celebrating our nation’s birth?

My initial reaction was slight disappointment. However, this is mainly due to how much I like High West and the standard they've set. It's a good bottle.

Just a follow up on the old elk discussion from a few days ago. I ended up opening the wheated bourbon (maisano's pick). I've had three pours (at different times), and I'm pleasantly surprised. A little sweet and maybe a tad hot, but some nice flavors. I'm glad I gave it a shot.
I probably won't open the straight wheat or the sour mash though.

This new charcoal starter I picked up has me intrigued I’m thinking MPG juice. The nose is very interesting.
