Blanton's is overrated AF. It's good, but if it came in a normal bottle it would not be so "special" imo. Having said that, TA's pick is an excellent expression of Blanton's.

Oh and to update my post from a few days ago about rare breed rye being overpriced, I've got a new bottle sitting on my counter. The good news is it was seven bucks cheaper than the other place I referenced so I only "overpaid" by ten bucks or so.

Batch 9 is a fricking hitter. So far I’ve had American 5, Bourbons 8 and 9. Bourbon 9 has been my favorite by far.
