Wines Unlimited distributes Barrell in Louisiana, their owner's also own Martin's Wine Cellar. We got a bottle but I think everything that came to the state was preordered. If a store didn't preorder then there was no option to purchase because it was out of stock.

Little story about tasting room in Breck
We were in Breck for the Fourth of July. While hanging around the park downtown I poked my head in Breckenridge distillery. Never bought any of their product before but was a bit surprised as to what they had on their shelves. As I’m browsing, there is a tasting bar that runs down the establishment. Guy asks if I’d like to try anything. I say sure why not. Double barrel and the high proof caught my eye. I notice and ask you got that double barrel there? How about a taste of the double barrel?
He asked have you ever had any of our bourbon? I was honest and no I haven’t but I’ve seen it around. He then proceeds well let’s start you off with our signature blend. It’s our well rounded for most folks at 86 proof blah blah blah. Whatever I’ll try it. He goes on his sales pitch about the tasting notes etc.
I think my pissed off look about not letting me try the higher proof must have gotten to him. He walked off and found other stuff to do. frick Breckenridge. Guy must work at total wine pushing McFarland during the day.
My wife thinks I’m a snob but I know what I like and 86 proof wasnt going to be it
