$110. It’s an American light whiskey. It’s 99 corn and 1% barley. It’s really nice. Lots of sugar and butter pop corn. It’s 139 proof but drinks 120.

A couple of heavy pours and you'll need a crane to get it up if the wifey gets spicy

I’m still on the hunt for one of those older MGP ryes. I like how tumbling dice shows their age statement.

TBH, I didn't know what "light whiskey" was.
$100 isn't too bad then. The proof is crazy.

I think I spent $110 or so on Penelope Rye Takoji cask. I'll have to keep my eye out for this one.

Picked up a couple bottles but have been nervous to try it. Didn't want to not like it....or worse like it.

I don’t get scotch, I love bourbon, butterscotch, just taste like mold or mildew to me. Friend of mine brought me back a nice bottle from a trip to Europe

And it just taste like old, wet, tennis shoes. People say it’s an earthly taste. But I think what people think is an earthly taste is old, wet, tennis shoes, or towel that was wet and got left in the back of your SUV during the summer.

Oh he’s still a thing

He comes down a few times a year and usually stays at least 1 day in NO, but most of his time is spent over in Lafayette/Youngsville.

ETA: he was just in town in May

I always find out too late.

I do believe his last posts was due to me having too much to drink with him after I went to Le Bernardin
