I haven’t seen that bottle. I did hear a rumor that Total Wine is getting OGD 114 Single Barrel sometime soon

I don’t really care for the OGD 114. I think I’m in the minority. I did hear the single barrels are great value.

Regular OGD114 makes a great OF. Neat, nope. The single barrel is several steps above.

Well, it's $40 so you're getting a midrange bourbon. But I think it hits above it's price point but I like French oak finished bourbon.

Reviewed my latest fresh crack bottle on my channel last week, going to have another pour after work
Still Austin Red Corn:Aged 7 years. I got very lucky to get this when the distillery released it for sale online. It sold out in about 30 damn seconds
It is phenomenal, honestly all of their age stated stuff has been fantastic. I have the 7 year old straight bourbon (horsehead one). I think the peak of the straight bourbon is better, but the red corn is more instense and complex in flavor overall.
I think still austin my be my favorite distillery outside of Kentucky, well, them and found north.

I love ryes with my old fashoneds (although ogd is high rye). I find that most times I get an old fashioned I do not like, it is too sweet. I think the spice and herbally notes of a rye balance that sweetness out.
I have started using sazerac full proof in my old fashioneds

Pretty good bottle, some dank fruit, good depth of flavor. A hint of tobacco but not a large presence of it. Unusually dark flavor profile for a cigar batch
There are really 2 types of cigar whiskeys. 1) Those whose profiles are meant to compliment a cigar. Something like an Old Elk Cigar Cut or 2) Those that are meant to give a familiar cigar flavored tobacco profile, like a buzzard's roost cigar rye or cigar bourbon
I think the barrel fits more into category 1
