Ive not had either Rye. Actually ive not had any Angels envy prod.
I will be looking for the JD Rye SB.
But this Willet is the 4 yr. It is the strongest Rye note i think ive had. Very licuorice too.

How does this compare to the regular OGD 114. I passed on this battle when I traveling in Missouri last month. Shoulda picked it up for $55.

JD single barrel barrel proof rye,

THE BEST value…by far with a BP Rye. It’s fantastic.

So I'm new to New Riff and got the single barrel as well. I really like it a lot.

If you can find a bottle of their 8-year, it's worth buying as well. Smooth and tasty.

I do like me an Angel's Envy rye too though.
Have never been a fan of anything Angel's Envy. I had the Rum Cask finished rye on a short trip last week and immediately bought a bottle when I got back home. Blackburn's pancake syrup is what I get most from it.

I'm curious too. I haven't had the wheated version. But I do like the other stuff.

More complex than Weller 107. Longer finish.

I think the GtG rye is awesome.

I had this over the weekend and thought it was super solid. Anyone else tried it and have an opinion? Lower proof than what I usually drink but very flavorful, really enjoyed it

Solid pour. Old Ezra 7 is great and this isn’t far behind

Thanks! It’s pretty pricey, so just want to make sure it worth it. I did see the G2G wheated for a little cheaper recently ($90) at Champagne’s in Carencro. That store has great selection for its size & good store picks.

I concur about the G2G Rye…really solid.

I think one of them was around $90 and the other was $130. I bought them in Missouri last month. Went do a little shopping while we were in the Ozarks.
