Love the Sagamore DO! It’s my first bottle of Sag. Which one should I try next?
I just purchased a Peerless DO Rye that I’m looking forward to cracking soon.

Sagamore Sherry Finish is one of my favorites from them. TW in Metairie normally has it.

Has anyone in southern Louisiana got their hands on the Wild Turkey 8yr yet?

I’m a Sagawhore too. I just got a 9yr rye looking forward to trying.

For now, Penelope Wheated 4 grain. Happy hump day.

I have a nearly full bottle from a couple years ago I didn't care for at all. I love DO and I love sherry cask finished scotches but that one hit me the wrong way. I guess I need to go back and try it again.

TW still had some Nola bourbon fest sagamore bottles left recently (last years). That’s the best sagamore I’ve had outside of the 8 and 9 year

That makers was so much better than the heart release from last year. Although the keepers release is better as well, I still think the lost recipe takes the W over that one as well

I've had it here in The Woodlands. It's pretty good but Rare Breed Barrel Proof is better imo.

I really like it but I’m partial to Compass Box in general. I feel like it’s a great value for what it delivers compared to some other more expensive scotch I’ve had

Not peaty, but rather clean with deep mid palate. Nice finish

I pulled the trigger. I've been into the Sherry finished scotches lately so its sounds like its in my wheelhouse.

It was my least favorite as well.

My favorite Sagamore that I've ever had was a 52/43/5 (low rye mash bill) barrel proof single barrel. I really wish they'd start releasing that mash bill solo, rather than just blending it with their 95/5 mash bill.

They are dropping a cask strength 123 proof 7 year rye made with only their distillate soon (a blend of their two mash bills). I'm hoping that one will be very good and will be a shelfie that I keep on my bar.

I had a pour.....or 3 last night celebrating a Stars win. It was better than I remember but it could have been victory euphoria or a 2 year old opened bottle that helped.
