What’s the peatiest / smokiest whiskey you guys know of that exists on planet earth ?

Maybe Octomore...at least measured by PPMs. But it drinks more smooth. Bruchladdich Heavily Peated is up there and drinks like a higher PPM than Octomore.

Wish I was in Breck.

This will do for now. One of my favorites. Anything from Old Forester is always good

Octomore for sure with some of their releases.

THen Ardbeg Supernova or Hypernova also way up there at 100PPM or higher. Most of the mainstream Islay releases are around 50 PPM.

Don’t do it. I feel like it is not quite the same quality as it used to be.

I had read an article a few months ago about MW being mass produced this year and also not being from the same supply as in the past. Basically saying the quality would be less than previous years. The article also stated that the number of bottles should be so readily available that the price should reflect that. That being said, I took that as prices would be in the sub $100 range but clearly that is not the case. I really like that bottle but I’d probably hesitate on paying north of $110 for it but I’m sure that means I’ll never get one.
