Good to see all of the solid pours for whiskey Wednesday. Just one for me tonight.

Good evening t00f. I used to always have one of these in stock. Got this one as part of a gift. Free always seems to taste a little better.

I see the High West Campfire. I passed on it a few times this week. Just didn’t want to pull the trigger.

Grabbed a Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat and a Weller Special Reserve instead.

I wouldn’t even know where to get that specific bottle of Blanton’s you have. How did you find that?

Campfire is a unique pour. As long as you don't mind some peat, I'd recommend it. Mine has lasted a long time because I only drink it in really cold weather.

The BT kosher wheat is somewhere between Weller special reserve and OWA to me. I got mine in NJ several years ago. No regrets at retail, but it's not something to pay secondary for.

Blanton's gold and sftb are available in Louisiana now. I see them about as often as regular Blanton's on the shelf, which is to say, very rarely. They are popular bundle choices for places like rouses and smaller liquor stores.

Got my hands on an A Smith Bowman Cask Strength. No idea what/when I’m gonna do with it.

When I went a couple years ago I didn’t think they were too bad. $20 a pour of some of their Willett purple tops and rye picks.

Evening baws, haven’t been documenting much lately, but I’ve still been drinking

ETA: This is a fresh crack, and I would be shocked if this isn’t Wild Turkey distillate.
