You think the Bourbon "cool" factor will wear off anytime soon? I mean, everyone is drinking the shite right now. People I know who never used to touch Bourbon are buying it now and drinking it.
It might cool off for a while now that it is hot as shite. I for one will be turning to Vodka or Gin a little more until the Fall.

was highly impressed the first time I had it. I got a few bottles and emptied them too quickly. I really think it's a step up from their U.S. 1 whiskey (same mashbill). Tons more spice and tannins and the nose is even more full. I thought it was worth the search and the bump in cost for sure.
I have a couple of bottles and I have enjoyed the bottle that I have open. I have never tried the US 1. I am a huge fan of the Michter's 10 though.

Yea, Michters gets some crap from a lot of people, but I REALLY like the 10 year old and even more the 10 year old Rye.

Never had the 10 year Rye.

Unc - stash a few of those away if you've got the inventory (or willpower). My buddy tasted a flight of '12-'15 KBS a few weeks ago. He said 1-2 years was the sweet spot for that one.

Sure did.. I have a couple 4 packs of this and BCBS tucked away in the celler (closet).

Just picked up another bottle of Russels Reserve 6 yr rye. Very underrated rye, IMO. Looking forward to the barrel proof.

Stopped by the hokus. A Bookers kind of day.

One of y'all should put together a best whickey/scotch/bourbon under $100 or under $60 list. Something for us simpletons to look for, I have no idea what all these acronyms mean.

I really wish we could get a list like that added to the first post... Sort of like a FAQ.. "Recommend my next bottle under $40" gets asked 45x a month it seems.

I love me some Bookers.
I have to watch it when I drink it though, that stuff WILL come and bite you on the arse if not careful.

I may have to make bookers my next purchase, never tried it before. Spent my allowance for whiskey spending for the next two weeks on a couple bottles today though

As I said earlier, this is a very underrated rye. I bought a bottle at the distillery last year for $45. It's only $30-$35 around here.
