I'm sure the whiskey only accentuates the china.

I actually looked at a few china cabinets since they were big, but most of them had glass shelves and I wasn't sure about putting that much weight on them. I went to Miskelly and they had a bunch of the painted and weathered stuff that I wasn't really looking for. I was between this one and a good sturdy bookshelf that could hold a good bit of weight. I chose this one for the doors and little wooden locks to keep the doors shut.

If it had glass shelves and a light it would look pretty cool lit up.

Yeah, they had a few like that with glass shelves and lights and I just didn't trust the stability of the shelves to handle enough weight. Seemed pretty like lightweight stuff meant for display of china.
