I've got a Handy also. I just didn't list it because I haven't opened it yet.

Love me some Handy. I think I have a bottle of Saz18 lined up. Interested to see how it compares at a lower proof and WAY older

It seems Jefferson reserve changed some wording on there bottles. From Very old to actually putting a age of 15 on it. Unless its something different (doubt it)...I did send them a email asking...

Wow, that's actually a huge difference to me. Specific age is the first thing I look for - which is annoying trying to figure out what GTS and especially Stagg Jr. really are.

Strangely enough, I also emailed Jefferson's yesterday. I traded for a bottle of JPS18 from the BX that didn't have a batch/barrel sticker and sent them an email asking why - and gave my bottle number.

That led me to discover the owner of Jefferson's is a Harvard Educated former Texas oil man who sold out to Louis Dreyfus for $375MM. Then he got into the liquor biz. Pretty depressing for those of us (me) who have dreams of entering the distilling business.

they say Stagg is at least 15 but I know it is a good bit older sometimes. I believe last years was either 17 or 19

I heard that as well... Prob have to get a few bottles on BX as none is coming to LA this year

Luckily you can snag ER17 for a few bucks cheaper than what they get for GTS and WLW

Dr Beardface I saw 2 bottles of the Parkers at the little place next to cinco de mayo the other day on the top shelf. They've been there at least 1-2 weeks. 80.99

Something like $20 from every bottle goes to ALS research. Parker Beam has ALS.

I want it but not paying $200 plus for a bottle. Most I paid was $140 for a bottle of Jefferson 18, then a week later I find two on a dusty shalf for $78

So I think I now know why FL got such a lousy allocation of BTAC. Was just told that the guy that owns buffalo trace and sazerac used to own Republic...and dislikes the distributor that handles FL...south coast...sun coast or something like that?

Yeah, for a company based in Metairie they sure do suck at getting the good stuff here.

I check their HR page about once a month to see if they need an in house counsel in New Orleans. No luck so far.
