Never had the Kentucky version so it's hard to compare. Rye is ok. Prefer the Willet 8 yr rye instead. BMH Bourbon is one of my personal favorites.

They are not as good as the 13 and 14's, but not as bad as some say. I have traded most of my 15 away. They are still good for 30-35.

Damn good night Doc!

Was able to sample #1 & #3 of the "best whiskeys of 2015"...really good but no VWFRR

I'd rank:
Pikesville
Hudson
(mild-arse wimpy) Crown rye

Okay question for the bourbon folks here. I left dirty Santa with a bottle of Kirkland Premium Small Batch. Is this a decent bourbon rebranded or is it akin to generic store brand.

I'm slowly getting into nicer bourbons. I've always mixed old forester with ginger ale and called it a day. Got a bottle of buffalo trace and bulleit I'm gonna try this afternoon during the games.

I think you misunderstood. I wasn't talking about the ETLs. I was referring to the black maple hills.

I wonder how many kickbacks were involved in that weak crown rye being named #1. Shits hilarious.

FPD: Woodford

Used to be my go to. I've since switched to the green label Weller

2PD: 1792 Sweet Wheat

Never had this before. Not too bad. I like a stiffer drink, but it's good.

3PD: Michters

Had this at the in laws a few times. Always a solid pour.

Solid day so far.

Leaving the in-laws and headed home for a 12 year Weller from 4PD - LPD
