I have done very well at these raffles. I have been to 3 and won at two of them.
I was the first name drawn at Hokus Pokus two years ago. I had a choice of any bottle for sale (I took the PVW20, passed on the 23).
I did not win at Hokus Pokus last year but I did get the hook up there this year because I got him a hook up with a large collection of unopened stuff from the 50's and 60's.
And of course, I won twice last night.

SMS won beer. 
SMS doesn't drink snooty beer. 
SMS traded his beer with a friend for whiskey. SMS likes wiskey.
All said a fun night and money going to charity.

I had a guy next to me pass on the birthday bourbon because he was only there for dat Pappy!! I almost shot him.
Fun to meet UnD and some of the Laffy crowd. Sorry I missed you Nola, my friend/mule wasn't feeling well and I had to leave fairly quickly.
BTW: I stood next to the Alabama shirt lady. Her husband also won beer. Between the 2 of them they won 3 times. All beer. They don't drink beer.
LSUCdro. Maybe consider splitting the raffle nights between beer and whiskey so the beer drinkers can be happy winning beer and the whiskey goes to people that will enjoy it. Just one man's 0.02.
