Had a good time last night, I was limited in my ability to mingle with dinner at 7:30 and friends in from out of town. Still a good night with some great pours...

Don't know much about Whiskey/Bourbon, but have posted on this thread. My wife is liquor rep and gets a free bottle every now and then. Last bottle was Garrison Brothers. Good stuff and I really enjoyed it. For $85 a bottle, I wouldn't buy it but if they would get it closer to $50, it would be a good deal.

im gonna have to open that '15 ER17 and see what the deal is. you and Unc both said the same thing. i know the last several years before this year were all 19yr tanked juice. 2015 is the first year for new ER17 distillate in a several years

Oh yeah... And MWND... Things got a bit blurry by the end. I can't really rank it in the rankings as being a rye it is very different from the other. A very good pour tough. I would rank it highly in a rye catagory.

Wanted to say a big thank you to all the TD guys that made it last night. We truly had a blast last night. The Cove really took care of us on the prices plus they gave us some bottles for the raffle and big thanks to Calandros and Bev Store.
My favorite pour of the night was the Four Roses 100th anniversary single barrel. That is darn good. Everything I drank last night was good though too. Really liked the Michters 10 and 2015 four roses smble.
If you didn't make it out this time, no worries, we will be doing this again soon! We have some exciting things in the work for 2016. Thanks again to the loyal TD guys who have been to every event, I.e. SMS. Also big thanks to JCANS, JFLSU, LSUTCC; and Wick, it was nice meeting you last night too! Cheers fellas.
