I wouldn't hold my breath on Dorignac's putting Pappy on the shelf. I was told by a worker that last year's allotment went to "investors".

I dont think they got it weeks ago. I think thats just more smoke that gets spread around this time a year. Misdirection for anyone who asks...

Talked to my RNDC guy today. They are still working on allocations

Yeah I live in birmingham and all the liquor is controlled by the state via ABC. They had release last Monday. It was announced on the www 3 weeks before, including what stores. So I went the Friday prior (to get bourbon for the Lsu game) and 4 days before release there were 4 people standing in line.. It was ridiculous. By Sunday, people were camped out there - all to have a chance at a limited 1 bottle per customer allocation.

I was tempted but decided I could work that morning and make close to enough to pay for a bottle (if I would ever be willing to pay 2ndary prices).
