I have one that is not open but a little leaked out. Post your email and I'll email you a pic. It's not much.

Craig, look your cork. It broke

Stand back, there's a doctor in the house.

Finally.

Glenfiddich 15 is 100 times better. For that matter all 15 year olds are 100 times better than all 12yo.

I would propose a moratorium on buying 12yo scotch. Seriously... Good people of tiger droppings. Lend me your ears!!! Don't do it. Yeah, its like $20 cheaper. It's like buying Evan Williams and deciding whether you like bourbon.

That is the end of my rant. I will now return you to the normal TD rants.

some years are much better than others, especially when talking about some of the vintage ones. That being said, the last 3 years/releases have been solid.

There is a slight chance that y'all might be focusing on the wrong part of my post.

Awesome. I was going to get the BSoBR guys a bottle of Pappy 23 but now I can get you some Evan Williams for $10. I will even upgrade you to the 1L for like $14.

Enjoy.

My post was about Glenfiddich scotch and referenced Evan Williams as a less then desirable bourbon.

jcans posted his opinion on Evan Williams in 6 words.

edit: well maybe i jumped a little too soon... technically you did say "evan williams", not "evan williams single barrel".

Lol I will most definitely keep that in mind next time I snag a scotch. Pay the extra $ and get a 15 year. And if you were to ever bring us a bottle of something, I think we would hope for a scotch of some sorts and not pappy. I trust your judgment of scotches more than bourbons now. Lol.

Single Malt, the normal Evan Williams is the cheap one, single barrel is mid to high 20s. I got the point of your post, maybe use benchmark as the comparison next time haha

It's all relative. Maybe Evan Williams Single Barrel is to Single Malt like Benchmark is to JCANS.

I had the Evan Williams 23 year old last year....and if that's the basis for judging bourbon, then many others don't stand a chance, as it was worth the heaven hill tour itself. Although at $450, it did make me pucker up a little.
I do get your analogy though.

No8 starting on that Lafayette time baw.
